Finding A Teaching Agency Is Easy…
Finding One That Really Cares Is The Important Part.
ABOUT
We are a personable, innovative and trustworthy supply teaching agency, powered by current professionals.
Our desire to make a difference in schools, to students and the teaching profession is ever growing. We ensure our staff possess the knowhow and understand the need for outstanding classroom practice.
We have a carefully selected, aspirational bank of supply teachers who are quality assured by us to ensure we provide the quality of education that students deserve. We match teachers with the right school by creating strong working relationships with schools, their staff and culture.
WHO WE WORK WITH
We work with both aspiring and established teachers, across all subject areas.
We specialise in developing up and coming teachers who have not yet qualified. We use our own teaching experience combined with finding the right opportunities in schools to provide them with vital learnings to move into their PGCE year or full time roles.
For those who already hold Qualified Teacher Status, we work closely with them to find suitable opportunities to fit their preferences, specialisms and current lifestyle.
What Separates Us From Other Teaching Agencies?
We are out to make a positive difference to the world of supply teaching and we believe developing a personable working relationship with our teachers is at the heart of making that happen.
We go above and beyond to support our teachers before, during and after their assignments to ensure a quality experience & service is provided in schools.
Our Mission
Our mission is to provide high quality teaching solutions to schools in need. We will work closely with our clients and candidates to provide ongoing support, to develop and fulfil their ambitions.

OUR WHY
Aspiring PE Teachers
Lewis and I (Rob), both went to school together in Sheffield. Moving through our own education journey we both always had positive role models in a school setting, had fantastic experiences and thoroughly enjoyed our time in school, especially in the sporting scene. The majority of the credit should go to our PE teachers here for creating that platform. So, along with our passion for sport, it was pretty clear to us that we wanted to go into teaching to create this for other students down the line.
Getting Qualified
We both then went on to study Physical Education & School Sport at Sheffield Hallam University. A brilliant course that had an abundance of practical learnings that still sit with us today. After graduating, we went on into our PGCE / Teacher Training year. A tough year where you’re thrown in at the deep end, but this certainly reinforced our love for teaching and that it was something we wanted to pursue.
Entering The Teaching Profession
Entering the teaching profession is a competitive process. So first off, potentially just like yourself, we first turned to a supply teaching agency to start building our bank of experience, develop our teaching practice and also earn some cash. However, we quickly went off this idea due to a negative experience with a supply teaching agency… an unclear, frantic and intimidating onboarding process left us a little confused and very unprepared to carry out any supply teaching work – our first impression into the world of supply teaching wasn’t a great one!
Following this, we both secured full time teaching positions, one in Sheffield and the other in Nottingham.
Specialising In Our Craft
Throughout teaching we always looked to develop our craft. Here is an insight into that journey:
Lewis:
• Currently still an active PE teacher
•Progressed into a middle leadership role in schools in a pastoral setting becoming Head of Year.
•Alongside developing mentor experience, through becoming a PGCE mentor. Working closely with trainee teachers
Rob:
• 8 years teaching experience
• Developed into a middle leadership role within school, specialising in subject areas via becoming A-level & GCSE lead.
• Mentor experience was also a feature of my career through being the designated ECT Mentor, which works closely with newly qualified teachers and ensures their progress.
We both now take our recent and extensive experience in the teaching industry and pass that to our staff at QAT. Alongside making brilliant working relationships with schools in the South Yorkshire area.
Creating QAT
We started to create the idea of QAT throughout our teaching journey. However, we officially launched in January 2023.
Throughout our teaching career we have experienced first hand working with supply teachers. They are a vital cog to keeping schools running. However, we have seen on far too many occasions the quality of the supply teachers coming in is below average, which in turn, caused more problems within the school day.
We are on a mission to ensure that we raise this industry standard of supply teachers, providing them with relevant training, support and resources to fulfil the needs of students in many different settings. Becoming a fully quality assured member of staff at all schools placed in.
